Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to Panchtatva Yog Ashram. To maintain a peaceful environment for yoga, meditation, and reflection, we request all guests to follow these guidelines:


General Rules & Guidelines

1. Meals & Dining

All meals are served in the Annapurna Area. To ensure the kitchen remains safe and hygienic, yoga guests are kindly requested not to enter the kitchen, which is reserved exclusively for our chefs. Please check the meal schedule and enjoy every meal mindfully.

Dietary Practices: The Ashram promotes sattvic eating. No meat or eggs are permitted, supporting both physical and mental well-being. Guests are encouraged to practice 'Maun' (silence) during meals for mindful eating and a peaceful dining experience.

2. Safety, Security & Conduct

For your safety, guests are requested not to leave the premises without prior permission from our authorized staff. We recommend avoiding bringing valuable jewelry or ornaments, as the management cannot take responsibility for any loss. Jal Neti, Yoga, Meditation, and Health & Wellness sessions are important parts of your healing journey and are therefore required, unless your doctor advises otherwise.

3. Safety & Timings

For your safety, guests leaving the Ashram must return by 9 PM.

4. Spiritual Practices

Daily participation in Aarti is required for all yoga guests, without exceptions.

5. Substance Restrictions

Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited on Ashram premises. Outside eatables, alcohol, or tobacco products are not allowed. Guests must cooperate with luggage checks and sign a declaration to this effect. Violation may result in immediate discharge and forfeiture of payment.

6. Use of Electronics

Mobile Phones, Laptops, and Electronic Devices are not allowed during treatments, Yoga, or Meditation sessions.

7. Noise & Music

To maintain tranquility, keep all music at a low volume.

8. Cleanliness & Seva

Respect and care for your surroundings. Keep your room and Ashram premises clean. Participation in Seva (selfless service), such as helping with cleaning, is encouraged whenever possible.

9. Behavior & Conduct

No sexual activity is allowed, including holding hands, hugging, massages, or other physical displays of affection. Dress modestly and respectfully. Avoid short shirts, tank tops, or tight/revealing clothing. Relatives and friends may visit only in the office; they are not allowed in guest rooms.

10. Room & Facility Use

Guests are responsible for washing and drying their own clothes. The Ashram may share rooms according to operational needs. When leaving a room, please switch off lights and taps.

11. Policy Changes

Management reserves the right to change rules, policies, and rates without prior notice. Management's decision is final in all disputes.


Admission Rules

  1. Admission is reserved and non-transferable.
  2. Final admission requires a physical examination by our doctors. Any discrepancies may lead to denial.
  3. Early arrivals may be accommodated, but treatments start only after medical clearance.
  4. Incorrect information in the application may result in forfeiture of the deposit and denial of admission.
  5. Report any changes in medical condition or significant weight fluctuations after booking; final admission depends on re-evaluation.

Important Guidelines for Treatments & Therapies

  1. All therapies & diets are doctor-prescribed. Personal choice is not allowed.
  2. Please follow therapy timings; late arrivals may shorten sessions.
  3. Some treatments are restricted during menstruation; alternatives will be provided.
  4. Self-medication is prohibited. Declare all ongoing medicines at admission.
  5. Follow the treatment plan. Management is not liable for undisclosed health issues or non-compliance.
  6. In emergencies, patients may be shifted to a nearby government hospital.

Treatment at Panchtatva Yog Ashram is NOT recommended for

Therapies at Panchtatva Yog Ashram are designed to work holistically, addressing both mind and body.

Important Notice – Eligibility for Treatment

For safety and best healing results, treatment at Panchtatva Yog Ashram is not recommended for:

  1. Children below 12 years & adults above 80 years (unless cleared by doctor).
  2. Pregnant women.
  3. Persons with unstable heart conditions.
  4. Individuals unable to walk 1 km without assistance.
  5. Patients with advanced cancer (beyond Stage II), TB, or contagious diseases.
  6. Guests seeking only leisure/holiday purposes.
  7. Severe psychiatric cases (e.g., schizophrenia, suicidal depression).
  8. Those who have undergone major surgery in the last 6 months (unless cleared).
  9. Individuals dependent on advanced medical equipment.
  10. Female guests during menstruation (restricted therapies, doctor's advice applies).

*Kindly Note: Final admission at Panchtatva Yog Ashram is subject to a physical examination by in-house doctors. If any information provided in the application form is found to be incorrect, admission shall be denied with forfeiture of deposit. Any change in medical condition or major weight fluctuation after confirmation of booking must be informed immediately, and thereby admission shall be confirmed after the physical examination.

Guests must provide complete and accurate medical history at the time of admission. Non-disclosure of health conditions may lead to denial or discontinuation of treatment during the stay.


Payment & Booking Policy

  1. 100% of the total payable amount must be deposited in advance to confirm your Special Camp booking. Please note that your booking will not be confirmed until the advance payment is received.
  2. Advance Deposit: 50% of the total amount is required to confirm your Ayurvedic therapy booking. Balance Payment: Remaining 50% to be paid on or before arrival. Check-in requires full payment.
  3. One package admits one person. Cost shall vary based on single or double occupancy.
  4. Govt taxes & levies may be applicable at the time of admission and will be charged extra.
  5. In the event of premature departure (for any reason), no refund or credit note will be granted.
  6. In the case you want to leave our premises, on your own accord or if you severely violate our regulations and we are compelled to expel you from our premises, kindly note NO REFUND of your balance money will be possible.
  7. Payment Methods: Credit/Debit Cards*, Online Payment, Cash, UPI, Demand Drafts.

*Note: 1.25% extra charge applies to card payments.


Cancellation/ Postponement/ Forfeiture Policy and Rules

Patients are required to give at least 7 working days (Weekends and public holidays are considered as non-working days) (up to 5.30 pm IST) notice if they wish to postpone or cancel a confirmed booking.


Checklist & Guidelines

Following this checklist will ensure a smooth admission process and a comfortable healing experience at Panchtatva Yog Ashram:

Medical Reports

  1. Medical Reports (Recent – within few Months) & HEALTH Records: Please carry recent medical reports (hard copy or digital copy) for reference during consultation.
  2. CBC (Complete Blood Count)
  3. KFT (Kidney Function Test)
  4. LFT (Liver Function Test)
  5. Lipid Profile
  6. HbA1c
  7. Vitamin B12 & Vitamin D3
  8. Thyroid Profile – T3, T4, TSH
  9. CRP
  10. ECG
  11. 2D Echo (Any other relevant investigations based on age and symptoms)
  12. Past medical history/ treatment records (if available)
  13. Ongoing medications (including daily and emergency medicines)

Clothing & Accessories

  1. Guests must wear loose, comfortable cotton clothing (Kurta-Pyjama or Salwar-Kameez). A pair of woollens is recommended during winter or rainy seasons.
  2. Shorts and sleeveless clothing are strictly not allowed.
  3. Comfortable footwear is required for the treatment section, and walking shoes are recommended for outdoor activities.
  4. Extra set of old clothes (for massage and oil-based therapies)
  5. Sports / walking shoes
  6. Slippers or sandals (specifically for treatment areas)
  7. 2 full-sized towels
  8. Sufficient pairs of undergarments
  9. Woollen wear (during monsoon/winter)
  10. Umbrella & appropriate footwear (during monsoon)

Panchtatva Yog Ashram – Guest Arrival Checklist

  1. Reservation & ID
  2. Complete Reservation Form before arrival.
  3. Carry one valid ID: Aadhaar / Passport / Driving License / Voter ID.
  4. NRI / International guests: Passport & OCI card (if applicable).

Admission Essentials

  1. Reservation Confirmation Letter
  2. Payment Deposit Slip / Receipt
  3. Original & photocopy of ID proof
  4. Foreign Nationals: Passport with valid Visa

Before Arrival

  1. Submit a copy of your ID via email/WhatsApp.
  2. Inform the medical team of any special dietary needs.
  3. Carry cash or card for personal kits, laundry, or extra therapies.

Toiletries & Personal Care

  1. Personal toiletries of choice (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc.)
  2. Any additional personal care items you may need.

Pre-Visit Diet Checklist

To enhance the effectiveness of your healing journey, please follow these dietary guidelines at least 3 days prior to your visit:

Do's:

  1. Include plenty of fresh, wholesome foods in your diet.
  2. Eat raw fruits, vegetables, and salads regularly.
  3. Drink at least 2 liters of water daily at room temperature.

Don'ts:

Avoid unhealthy or processed foods, including:

  1. Bread and bakery products
  2. Meat, poultry, fish, and seafood
  3. Dairy products
  4. Alcohol, tea, and coffee
  5. Cigarettes and tobacco
  6. Aerated or soft drinks

Following these guidelines will help prepare your body for a smoother and more effective healing experience.
